We are partnering with a leading regional securities firm to identify a Fixed Income Sales Trader for a seat in Singapore. The successful candidate will join at a pivotal moment of regional growth, with meaningful scope to contribute across the desk's full cross-asset mandate.
About the Organisation
Our client is a well-established regional securities firm with a diversified client base spanning retail, institutional, and alternative investment segments. The firm is actively expanding its ASEAN footprint with new markets coming online, and is building out execution capability to support growing cross-asset flow.
The Role
The Sales Trader will serve as a primary execution point for cross-asset OTC flow across three client groups across ASEAN - retail brokerage, institutional fixed income, and prime brokerage.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales across fixed income, structured products, and mutual funds for a diverse client base spanning retail, institutional, and prime brokerage segments
- Price and manage cross-asset flow with speed and accuracy, maintaining execution quality across varying market conditions
- Build and deepen relationships across assigned client segments, with a focus on service quality and retention
- Support revenue growth by developing existing client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand wallet share
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including risk, middle office, and operations to ensure seamless trade execution and settlement
- Stay current on market developments across fixed income and structured products to provide timely and relevant client advisory
Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of cross-asset OTC experience across fixed income and structured products
- Proven track record of servicing at least one of the following: retail and corporate clients, institutional fixed income accounts, or prime brokerage counterparties
- Execution-first orientation - ability to price, execute, and manage OTC flow is non-negotiable
- Existing revenue-generating client relationships across any of the above segments is a strong differentiator
