Client Details
Our client is seeking a high-calibre, hands-on Finance Manager to oversee its Seoul finance and accounting operations. This role serves as a key bridge between the Seoul office and the Hong Kong regional hub. You will be responsible for ensuring strong financial control, driving process improvements, and providing strategic insights to support regional growth.

Job responsibilities:
  • Report to the Finance Director based in Hong Kong and work closely with the accounting team in Seoul
  • Oversee daily finance operations (AP/AR, billing, cash, and trust accounts) for the Seoul office, ensuring accurate postings and strong internal controls
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing in compliance with K-GAAP, overseeing full-set accounts, GL reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting
  • Deliver financial analysis and management reporting, including KPI tracking, variance analysis, and business performance insights
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning
  • Manage fixed assets accounting and ensure compliance with Korean accounting and tax requirements, including depreciation and asset tracking
  • Coordinate external audits and statutory filings, acting as the key liaison with auditors, banks, and Korean tax authorities
  • Support strategic planning, drive process improvements and automation, and ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of solid accounting and finance experience, preferably within professional services or law firms
  • Fluency in Korean is highly preferred for internal & external communications and engagement
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, as you will liaise with English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and Korean regulations, tax compliance, and internal controls
  • Excellent interpersonal and language skills, with the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
