The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager to lead and accelerate its digital commerce agenda across the IME region.

This is a commercially focused role responsible for developing and executing the regional eCommerce strategy, expanding the company's presence across key online platforms and delivering sustainable sales growth. The successful candidate will work closely with Marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen online brand visibility, optimise the consumer journey and build strong partnerships with e-retailers.

Key Responsibilities
eCommerce Strategy & Commercial Growth
  • Develop and execute the eCommerce strategy for the IME region, aligned with overall commercial objectives.
  • Drive eCommerce sales performance against periodic and annual targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand presence across relevant eCommerce platforms and channels.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key e-retailers to maximise brand visibility, distribution and growth.

Digital Activation & Consumer Experience
  • Partner closely with Marketing to develop online campaigns and promotional activities that increase traffic, conversion and sales.
  • Optimise the end-to-end online consumer journey, from product discovery and browsing through checkout and delivery.
  • Manage and optimise product listings, pricing and online merchandising across eCommerce platforms.
  • Apply digital marketing capabilities across SEO, PPC, email and social media to support online growth.

Performance, Analytics & Optimisation
  • Analyse sales performance, website analytics, customer behaviour and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate data and consumer insights into actionable commercial and digital strategies.
  • Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support smooth fulfilment and minimise disruption.
  • Continuously assess emerging eCommerce technologies, platforms and consumer behaviours.

Governance & Cross-Functional Management
  • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of eCommerce initiatives.
  • Manage multiple eCommerce projects, priorities and external partners simultaneously.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks including brand infringement, fraudulent activities, security concerns and supply-chain disruption.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Proven eCommerce management experience, preferably within FMCG/CPG, retail or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and related technologies, including order management, payment gateways and website functionality.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities with experience interpreting sales, consumer, website and market data.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing.
  • Experience managing and developing relationships with eCommerce platforms/e-retailers.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys, UX and online conversion optimisation.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Commercially driven, adaptable and comfortable operating within a fast-changing digital commerce environment.
