Key details:  
  • We are currently seeking a Finance Data Migration Analyst to support a major finance systems transformation program within a NSW Government organisation. This role will focus on assisting with the migration of HR/Payoll date from SAP ECC6 to SAP SuccessFactors. 
  • This involves data validation, potentially data cleansing or advising the business in what needs to be fixed and generally assisting the HR/Payroll SMEs in any data-related activities, including verification testing after data load, and the Parallel Payroll run. 
  • We are looking for people who are available immediately or within a short period of time, have HR (Payroll) or Finance experience on SAP ECC6 (SuccessFactors will be a bonus), strong attention to detail and a positive, and a can-do attitude. 
  • You  will work under the direction of the relevant HR and payroll SMEs.
  • This is a hands-on delivery role suited to a junior to mid-level analyst who is comfortable working under direction from finance SMEs and supporting day-to-day data migration activities.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the extraction, loading and validation of HR/Payroll data as part of a SAP ECC6 to SuccessFactors migration
  • Working closely with vendors and internal finance stakeholders to complete data migration tasks
  • Validating data loads and assisting with reconciliation and testing activities
  • Supporting parallel payroll and finance testing processes ahead of system cut-over
  • Assisting with documentation, issue tracking and migration task coordination
  • Contributing to ensuring data integrity and successful transition to the new platform  
Key skills and experience required:
  • Experience supporting data migration between Payroll and HR systems
  • Exposure to SAP ECC6 and/or SuccessFactors environments
  • Experience using Nexus Suite/Nexus Move for data migration. This is being used migrate data from SAP ECC6 to SuccessFactors 
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation or testing activities
  • Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with finance SMEs and project teams
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience in payroll or finance system testing will be highly regarded.
