As the Tax Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
- Manage corporate tax risk and ensure compliance with the Group’s Tax Governance Framework, policies, and statutory obligations.
- Deliver accurate, timely corporate tax calculations, reporting, and advice to support business objectives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Provide expert direct tax advice to the business, influencing commercial decision-making and optimising outcomes.
- Maintain and enhance the tax control environment by driving process improvements and efficiency across tax operations.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, including business leaders, the ATO, external tax advisers, auditors, and other regulators.
- Support tax audits, disputes, and governance reporting, including Board and Audit Committee requirements.
- Demonstrated experience within an in‑house corporate tax function, preferably in a large, complex ASX‑listed organisation.
- Alternatively, proven experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within a Big 4 or leading mid‑tier firm, advising large ASX‑listed or multinational clients.
- Deep technical expertise across direct taxes, including income tax, transfer pricing, and associated compliance and reporting obligations.
- Strong capability to design and execute tax strategy in complex, highly regulated environments.
- Credible, collaborative leader with a solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to influence senior executives and regulators through clear, confident communication.
