A leading international financial institution is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Reporting to join its Singapore branch.
This role will be responsible for strengthening the bank's regulatory reporting quality assurance framework by independently reviewing regulatory submissions, enhancing reporting controls, and supporting the implementation of regulatory reporting requirements. Working closely with Finance, Control, and other business stakeholders, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of regulatory returns while contributing to the continuous enhancement of reporting policies, processes, and governance.
In addition, you will play a key role in reviewing reconciliation processes, validating reporting data, monitoring regulatory reporting changes, and supporting incident management and remediation where required. The position will also be involved in regulatory change initiatives, liaising with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure new reporting requirements are effectively implemented. This is a highly visible role offering exposure to senior management, regulators, and cross-functional teams, with opportunities to influence the bank's regulatory reporting governance and control environment.
The ideal candidate should have experience in regulatory reporting, finance, audit, risk, or financial control within the banking industry. Exposure to MAS regulatory reporting (particularly MAS Notice 610), regulatory reporting controls, financial reporting, or internal audit would be highly advantageous. Candidates with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple functions in a collaborative environment are encouraged to apply.
