Our NSW State Government Client is looking for a Product Manager to create, define and manage the requirements of initiatives and enhancements across the customer pillar portfolio and identify areas of optimisation to commonly link processes and leverage existing platform capabilities.

You will be collaborating with business leaders by leading and owning the prioritisation of the backlog to form the customer pillar portfolio roadmap.

Your Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate workshops to create, define and accept business requirements including acceptance criteria.
  • Own and drive the product road map, provide business context and vision.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder to ensure product alignment and identification of cross-delivery dependencies.
  • Responsible for managing, prioritising and approving the product backlog and ensuring it is visible, transparent and clear to all stakeholders.
  • Understand the businesses current and future objectives needs through collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Responsible for understanding of system capabilities, workflow and business processes to commonly link and highlight duplication and participate in validations of the solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the business and other stakeholders to understand and communicate their needs.
  • Responsible for influencing the direction of the product, shaping the product roadmap and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Provide inputs into planning and delivery activities to ensure milestones are met.
  • Represents the business in project delivery to ensure technology alignment to business outcomes and priorities.
  • Ensure a shared understanding of the product roadmap to prompt discussions and seek to clear roadblocks.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and ensure that their input is sought in a timely manner and that all relevant matters are appropriately followed-up.


You Must Have:
  • Strong experience in leading a team of Business Analysts and liaising with business stakeholders
  • Understanding and experience in the insurance and care industry in policy and/or claims.
  •  Understanding and experience in one or more of the following system technologies; guidewire, salesforce, digital, and/or document management.A broad range of experience in agile delivery.
  • Well-developed coordination skills combined with a sound understanding of project management techniques.
