Job Description

Our client is looking for a Funds Analyst is to provide support to the Team in servicing and managing relationships with investors including assessing and implementing investment decisions and managing the investment performance of the Funds’ assets. The overarching objectives are to deliver the strategy and performance objectives for the Funds and contribute to LLIM business unit FUM growth targets. Deliverables include:

Strategic
  • Provision of exceptional client service to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and broaden and deepen client relationships.
  • Assist the Fund Manager to implement strategies for existing investments, including undertaking new acquisitions and divestments.
  • Assist the Fund Manager with development and implementation of the funding and capital management strategies for investment vehicles, as required.
  • Work with the Fund Manager to implement client business growth strategies across designated clients
Financial
  • Undertake the financial analysis required for investment decisions, under direction fromthe relevant Fund Manager, Deputy Fund Manager and/or General Manager Finance.
  • Review and interrogate draft budgets tabled by the Investment Managers and property management teams. Assist in the preparation of budget presentations to procure relevant approvals.
  • Review of quarterly asset plans against annual budgets, to understand, interrogate and report on NOI and capex/incentives variances.
  • Maintain fund models for relevant funds and sensitise as required for commercial decision making and reporting purposes.
  • Structured monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial / performance reporting as required by the asset, property management and finance teams.
Operational
  • Take ownership of developing responses to date to-day client queries in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, investor papers, investment recommendations, monthly and quarterly reporting and other materials and analysis, as required.
  • Contribute to regular communications and dialogue with designated clients around operational matters and investment opportunities.

Must have skills & experience:
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Property Economics or other degree / qualification relevant to the property funds management and investment industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years Finance or Property industry experience.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have skills & experience
  • Experience in a property discipline (asset management, valuations, commercial development, transactions).

Assignment is full-time for 5 months (end date 21/12/2022) with the potential to be extended or converted to permanent. Candidate is required to be in the office three days per week.

Candidate pay rate $563.50 per day inclusive of super
