The Company: 

A reputable Insurance Company is looking for talented people to join their expanding team in Hong Kong. Due to the growth of the Company, they are now hiring for creative, ambitious, and curious people to join their Hong Kong office.  This role is a 12-month contract.


Responsibilities: 
  • Successfully roll out a new group driven investment accounting solution across the APAC Business Units
  • Conducting Gap analysis with existing systems and IT investment targeting solutions
  • Working with the UAT Lead to create test cases, test scripts and test steps that comply with local reporting guidelines
  • Document data conversion strategies and other vital project documentation for auditing purposes
  • Overall support within Change management and communication plans to business user
  • Collect and consolidate Investment data for migration
  • Facilitate training sessions with vendors and business units to understand new investment accounting solutions

 
Requirements: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance
  • CPA or CA Qualified or a Provisional Member
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with Investment Operations, accounting, or management consulting experience
  • Project management & Business Analyst experience would be an advantage
  • Fluency is English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
  • Local accounting or regulatory exposure within the following countries: Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, or Malaysia
  • Familiarity with IFRS9, StateStreet PAM, Clearwater, SAP FAM, SimCorp or investment accounting systems
  • Detail oriented and excellent organisation skills with the ability to work independently
  • Immediately Available preferred, or with a maximum of a 1 month notice period
