The Role:

Client is a well-known global organisation within the financial services industry.  An exciting opportunity to join this leading team and business immediately. You will be a part of the Global Services team based in Hong Kong.  The role will require an adaptable and driven individual who is interested in working closely with the business.


Responsibilities: -
  • Managing the Accounts Payable and Operational Procurement team
  • Understanding and handling the flow of all invoices which include, Travel, Staff expenses and Entertainment
  • Postings onto the banks accounting and payments systems
  • Analysing the impact of local regulatory matters on finance strategies and direction
  • Ensuring that accounting, reconciliation, and reporting functions are conducted in a timely manner with compliance to internal and external policies
  • Performing audit services on invoices
  • Supporting the regional head of operations on local implementation, risk and productivity matters


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Qualified Accountant with relevant banking and financial services work experience
  • Managerial experience
  • Team player with superior communication, interpersonal and language skills
  • Detail oriented, motivated individual with excellent analytical and agile mindset
  • Regulatory reporting exposure
  • Immediately available or with a maximum of a 1 month notice period.
