Short term contract with the possibility of extension
The role will include, but not be limited to;
Support investment attraction opportunities including international and inter-state business leads and opportunities and management of Jobs Plus applications
Engage with defence and aerospace industry and lead industry development activities.
Support industry strategy and major campaigns, including stakeholder engagement and industry case studies.
Manage programs such as Regional Defence Networks Program, including performance management and ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and in line with the Investment NSW’s requirements.
Manage Investment NSW’s presence at major trade-shows including Indo Pacific, Land Forces and Avalon
Lead stakeholder relationships through established forums including the monthly NSW Defence Networks Forum and NSW Regional Defence Working Group.
Manage media campaign including sector newsletters, Sponsorship and editorial opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Strong attention to detail
Ability to use initiative and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Your ability to manage stakeholders at different levels
Demonstrated project and stakeholder management skills, with experience in undertaking research, data collection and analysis.
Experience working in or with government agencies, or a sound understanding of government policy processes and governance.
Knowledge of the advanced manufacturing and/or the defence and aerospace ecosystem.
