Advance Certificate or Diploma related to in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Management
Responsibilities:
Assist the EHS Executive/Manager to ensure a safety working conditions as well as safe work practices in the plant
Assist to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety, and environmental conditions
Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and follow-up action to ensure safety compliance
Provide advice and counsel concerning all Singapore compliance regulations related to EHS
Assist to develop controls for identified hazards and coordinate work with respective department to implement the controls
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace accidents and injuries
Assist the EHS Executive/Manager to coordinates and conducts safety briefing/training for workers and new employees
Assist the EHS Executive/Manager on the execution and implementation of SHMS
Assist, coordinate, and document safety meetings in the absence of EHS Executive/manager
Assist the EHS Executive/Manager in accident reporting and investigations as well as hazard communication
Review LTI, property damage and near miss reports and recommend corrective/preventive actions
Assist the EHS Executive/Manager on environmental compliance programs related to hazardous wastes, air permitting, water pollution control, and community right-to-know programs
Requirements:
Advance Certificate or Diploma related to in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Management
1-2 years experiences in related field
Fluent in Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking contractors
