Our client, a leading NSW Government Department are seeking a mature candidate who is able to work autonomously and has a good grasp of project management and installation processes 
The role is responsible for the planning and project management of New School Zone Flashing Lights Installations and other ITS Technologies in line with defined processes.

The contract  is for 6 months with potential for extension.
Day to Day Duties:
  • Interface with stakeholders to understand and develop and define project scope .
  • Implement continuous improvement in project processes.
  • Develop project briefs and track through to approvals phase.
  • Develop Scope of Works for contractors, issue and manage RFQs, engage and manage installation contractors.
  • Manage and develop quality management plans, project schedules and plans, identify and manage risks to ensure project delivery on time schedule and in line with project quality requirements.
  • Develop project reporting on project issues risks and status.
  • Oversee the project through to completion and ensure handover to asset owners in line with corporate asset handover guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide project management support to Infrastructure Team lead as required
Key Skills
  • Project Management qualifications eg PMP, etc. Requires good communication skills and ability to work in a complex environment with a variety of stakeholders.
  • ITS (Intelligent transport systems) experience is preferred
