This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an WM /  Institutional Banking or FS Audit specialist to join this nimble and growing FS group. Due to decentralisation the opportunity for the Audit Director has become available. You will report directly to the Regionally based Head of Audit, establishing a local audit presence. The mandate of this position is the timely execution of the audit plan, improving the quality of core processes across Internal Audit including Audit Methodology, Reporting and Issue Management.

In addition you will take responsibility for the following;
  • Ensure the continued development of Internal Audit processes and reporting are executed in an effective manner.
  • Identification of key risks across all the operations and subsidiaries.
  • Manage and negotiate the organisation’s external relationships with third party service providers.
  • In addition to product specific audits, your team will also focus on Grp Function audits (R&C, procurement, HR, Conduct Culture, HR, Finance etc.).
  • Other audits across - Equities, derivatives, funds and asset management related products.
  • Present your findings to the local Management Committees and Regional Head Office.
  • Manage, develop and motivate a team of professional staff.

The ideal candidate will be CA / CPA / CIA / CISA or similar qualified and have gained 8 years plus experience in Audit or Risk ideally from the Wealth Management or Institutional Banking industry.

You will have gained recent internal audit experience. You will display natural leadership skills with a focus on driving change and challenging the “status quo”.  This is a hands-on position and you will co-source from local and Asia Pacific resources. It is essential that you have a strong command of English, translating to above average report writing and communication skills. Superb long term career prospects are on offer.
