Leading insurance group requires an experienced financial reporting professional for a project focused position focused on redesigning and implementing process improvement around the financial control and reporting function.

Reporting into the GM Financial Control you will focus on:

  • Manage and prioritise the Project workload.
  • Active involvement in design and development of new end to end processes.
  • Analyse current BAU finance processes to identify common processes that require separation and develop the respective tools to be used after the separation.
  • Input into technical accounting matters and preparation of relevant accounting papers covering all aspects of the projects.
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders.

This will initially be a 12-18 month FTC with potential to transition into a permanent role.  

Key skills and experience:

  • CA/CPA qualified with minimum of 5-7 years post qualified experience 
  • Experience within large complex financial services organisations (insurance preferred)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge 
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills
