About the Firm & Practice:
We are partnering with a premier international law firm to recruit a high-caliber Junior Associate for their Asia-Pacific Disputes & International Arbitration practice.

The practice is led by globally recognized partners and regularly represents major multinational corporations, private equity sponsors, state-owned entities, and financial institutions in high-stakes, cross-border commercial and investment treaty disputes.
 
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will work directly alongside market-leading partners on complex, high-value, and multi-jurisdictional matters.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in advising clients on complex international commercial and investor-State arbitrations across major institutional rules.
  • Draft arbitral submissions, pleadings, witness statements, and legal opinions.
  • Conduct targeted legal research on complex points of international, commercial, and procedural law.
  • Manage document review and disclosure processes across large evidentiary records.
  • Collaborate with partners, technical experts, and global co-counsel across sectors including Energy & Infrastructure, Private Equity, Financial Services, and Technology.
 
Key Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified to practise in a recognised common-law jurisdiction, such as England & Wales, Singapore, New York, or an equivalent jurisdiction.
  • Experience: Approximately 1–4 years’ post-qualification experience, reflecting the level of responsibility and casework expected for this Junior Associate position.
  • Academic Background:  Excellent academic credentials from a recognized law school.
  • Skills:  Strong legal drafting, analytical rigor, and commercial acumen with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in English is essential for drafting legal submissions and opinions, conducting legal research, advising international clients, and working with global counsel and arbitral institutions. Additional language skills relevant to the firm's regional clients and cross-border matters are advantageous.
