We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong technical exposure to join an IT team supporting mission-critical systems in a hybrid (cloud and on-premise) environment.
This role combines business analysis, system operations, and cloud infrastructure support. You will work closely with Finance, IT, and external vendors to translate business needs into system solutions while ensuring high system availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business and IT teams to gather and translate requirements into system solutions
- Apply design thinking to improve user experience and business processes
- Act as the main liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors
- Manage expectations and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
System Operations & Support
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux systems in hybrid environments
- Support critical enterprise systems such as finance platforms, booking systems, and operational applications
- Troubleshoot issues during system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Handle incident, service request, and change request activities
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) integrated with on-premise systems
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery setups
- Work on infrastructure improvements and system reliability initiatives
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Implement and manage system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Zabbix, CloudWatch)
- Respond to incidents affecting operations and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure minimal downtime for critical systems
Automation & Configuration
- Use scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible)
- Maintain system configurations and deployment standards
- Support system updates, patching, and environment changes
SAP & Enterprise Systems Support
- Support enterprise system operations (including SAP environments where applicable)
- Assist with system configuration, transports, and updates
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on system changes and deployments
Security & Compliance
- Ensure systems comply with security standards (e.g. PCI-DSS, PDPA, GDPR, SOC2)
- Manage user access, provisioning, and security controls
- Support audits and ensure protection of sensitive data
Vendor & Service Management
- Coordinate with vendors and support teams to resolve issues within SLA
- Review incident trends and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure service quality and continuous improvement
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain system documentation, processes, and architecture records
- Support infrastructure planning and system landscape management
Requirements
Education
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or technical business analysis
- Experience in hybrid environments (cloud + on-premise)
- Hands-on exposure to Windows/Linux systems
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, VLAN)
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident management
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g. SAP or similar platforms)
- Experience in 24/7 operational environments
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Security, or SysOps)
