The opportunity
A public sector technology team in Singapore is hiring a senior engineer to lead delivery on mission-critical digital products. You'll report into the architecture group and work inside a cross-functional Agile squad alongside QA, DevOps, product, and design.

What you'll do
  • Build and ship secure, well-tested, scalable features — front-end, backend services, and APIs — on an established stack
  • Own the technical direction of your workstream: design decisions, trade-offs, benchmarking, and estimation
  • Set and enforce the quality bar through code reviews and a testing strategy spanning unit, integration, e2e, performance, and reliability
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, and deployment baked in
  • Apply DevSecOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices as standard
  • Mentor engineers, unblock the team, and flag delivery risks early with options in hand

What we're looking for
  • 6+ years building software hands-on, with 3+ years leading a team, module, or project
  • A track record of technical leadership in Agile/Scrum delivery
  • Depth in at least one of: Java, C#, or TypeScript (Angular / React / Next.js)
  • Comfortable with a relational database — PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle
  • Fluent in microservices, RESTful APIs, secure coding, and modern DevOps
  • Hands-on with CI/CD, automated testing, and Git-based workflows
  • Container experience (Docker / Kubernetes); cloud, IaC, and DevSecOps exposure is a plus
  • Degree in Computing / IT / Software Engineering, or equivalent depth in architecture and systems design

Degree can be waived for the right depth of hands-on architecture experience.
