Risk & Compliance Manager

The Opportunity
Ethos BeathChapman is partnering with a growing financial services organisation to appoint a Risk & Compliance
Manager. This is a hands-on Line 2 role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and real ownership across risk and compliance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager – Enterprise Risk, you will support the delivery of the risk and compliance framework, partnering with the business to manage obligations and uplift capability.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with AFSL and regulatory obligations
Support regulatory engagement and reporting
Manage incidents, breaches, and compliance registers
Assist with policy development and training
Partner with business units on risk identification and control design
Maintain risk registers and monitor control effectiveness
Support assurance activities and Board reporting
Manage and enhance GRC systems and reporting
About You
5+ years’ experience in risk and compliance
Financial services or regulated industry background
proven understanding of AFSL and regulatory frameworks
Experience with GRC systems (e.g. Protecht)
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Self-starter with a proactive approach
Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Resident with local experience only.
