We are seeking an experienced Regional Government Business Development Lead to drive public‑sector engagement across the ASEAN region. This role serves as a strategic connector between the organization and government stakeholders, ensuring strong visibility, early intelligence on policy developments, and the identification of regional partnership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high‑trust relationships with ministries, regulators, and government‑linked bodies across ASEAN.
- Monitor, interpret, and summarize policy directions, national programs, digital‑economy initiatives, and regulatory updates.
- Develop connectivity with immigration and manpower‑related agencies to support talent‑mobility initiatives.
- Support advocacy and engagement strategies aligned with business and organisational goals.
- Represent the organisation in forums, consultations, dialogues, and cross‑industry working groups.
- Prepare concise policy briefs, recommendations, and talking points for senior leaders.
- Collaborate with regional business teams to identify opportunities arising from government programs and upcoming initiatives.
- Provide early intelligence on investment climates, incentives, or sector‑focused government plans.
- Articulate the organisation’s capabilities to public‑sector stakeholders to build awareness of available solutions.
- Work closely with country leads across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and other markets to support government‑related activities.
- Ensure consistent positioning and strategic alignment across the region.
Essential Requirement:
- 5–7 years of experience in government relations, public‑sector business development, stakeholder engagement, or partnership‑driven roles.
- Established networks within government agencies, or a proven ability to develop strong, trust‑based relationships with ministries, regulators, and public‑sector bodies to support business growth.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision‑makers effectively.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify government‑driven opportunities, translate public‑sector priorities into business insights, and surface partnership pathways for leadership consideration.
