Our client is an established technology solutions provider supporting government and enterprise clients on data analytics and system implementation projects. Their work helps organisations improve reporting, make better use of business data and streamline day-to-day processes.
They are looking for a Project Manager (Data Analytics & Technology) to coordinate client projects from planning through to go-live, working closely with technical consultants and delivery partners. The role offers varied project exposure and direct client interaction, and would suit someone with technology consulting or project delivery experience who is ready to take on greater ownership.
Job responsibilities
- Manage data analytics and technology projects for government and enterprise clients, keeping delivery aligned with agreed scope and timelines.
- Work with clients to understand their requirements and coordinate project activities with technical teams and vendors.
- Maintain project plans, track progress and resources, and address issues that could affect delivery.
- Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed through regular meetings and clear progress updates.
- Coordinate testing, user acceptance, go-live and handover to support teams.
- Track changes to project scope and support proposals, tenders and maintenance activities where required.
Job requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in IT project delivery, technology consulting or project management, ideally with a consultancy or IT solutions provider.
- Practical involvement in system implementations, including requirements gathering, testing and go-live activities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and coordinate technical teams.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and follow through on outstanding tasks and issues.
- Exposure to data analytics, business intelligence or cloud projects would be an advantage.
- Experience supporting government or enterprise clients would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall delivery methods. Scrum or project management certifications would be a plus.
