MUST HAVE :
Civil engineering, contract management, project management – with a focus on scheduling and financial management
Overview :
- The primary purpose of the Project Engineer role is to develop and deliver road maintenance and minor works projects.
The role is within Project Services West. Delivery of the works is generally through a Road Maintenance Council Contract.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the investigation and design process
through the delivery readiness phase to ensure projects are developed and delivered to agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
- Manage the engagement of a contractor and contract administration of the contract through the delivery phase to complete maintenance and minor works project.
- Engagement is generally a sole invitee through the Road Maintenance Council Contract, however from time to time other engagement methods may be required.
- Implement effective cost management processes
to ensure accurate forecasts and accruals.
- Implement appropriate procedures, guidelines, processes and practices, in collaboration with Client specialists, to deliver a high level of workplace health and safety and environmental management on projects and contracts.
