Working within a small, collaborative and delivery-focused team, you will provide hands-on project coordination, reporting and governance support as the project moves into a busy delivery phase. This opportunity will suit an experienced Project Officer who can quickly understand the project environment, work independently and manage competing priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, calendars, actions and deliverables.
- Prepare project packs, monthly reports, status updates, briefings and presentations.
- Maintain risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and action registers.
- Support project governance processes and ensure required documentation is accurate and current.
- Coordinate meetings and workshops, including agendas, minutes and action follow-up.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, subject-matter experts and internal business areas.
- Capture and consolidate information from meetings and stakeholder discussions.
- Support business areas responsible for reviewing and maintaining website content.
- Assist with project communications and stakeholder updates.
- Maintain Teams sites, SharePoint content, shared drives and distribution lists.
- Support procurement, contractor onboarding, assurance and compliance activities.
- Maintain effective document control, versioning and naming conventions.
- Proactively support colleagues during busy delivery periods and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Demonstrated project coordination or project support experience in a fast-paced delivery environment.
- Experience preparing governance packs, status reports, briefings and other project documentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience tracking actions, schedules, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence engaging with internal stakeholders, business areas, vendors and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record-keeping.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team.
- The ability to adapt as the project moves into a busier delivery phase.
