Ethos BeathChapman is partnering with a large NSW Government Department to recruit experienced Procurement Managers to support complex sourcing and category management activities across major infrastructure and operational portfolios including Construction, Facilities Management, Major Fleet, Rail, Road and Maritime. These are high-profile procurement roles supporting some of the largest infrastructure and operational programs in NSW, working across strategic sourcing, category strategy, supplier engagement and commercial delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across complex infrastructure and operational categories
  • Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Manage RFx processes, tender evaluations, supplier negotiations and contract execution
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across infrastructure, operations and project delivery teams
  • Provide strategic procurement advice across pipeline planning, demand management and acquisition strategy
  • Manage procurement risks, governance and compliance activities in line with NSW Government frameworks
  • Drive value-for-money outcomes while balancing operational, commercial and delivery requirements
  • Mentor and support junior procurement staff and cross-functional teams
You will come with strong experience across one or more of the following categories:
  • Construction
  • Facilities Management
  • Major Fleet
  • Rail
  • Road & Maritime
  • Infrastructure Services
    • Strong understanding of NSW Government procurement frameworks, probity and sourcing governance
    • Experience managing high-value RFx processes, supplier negotiations and contract development
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
    • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, commercially sensitive and highly complex environment
    • Strong strategic sourcing and category management capability
