Ethos BeathChapman is partnering with a large NSW Government agency to recruit multiple Procurement Managers to support high-profile goods and services procurement initiatives across a complex enterprise environmentThese roles will suit experienced NSW Government procurement professionals who enjoy managing end-to-end sourcing activities, partnering with stakeholders and delivering strategic procurement outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide End-to-end goods and services procurement and sourcing (strategy through to contract execution)
  • Adept at NSW Government procurement frameworks, compliance, probity and governance requirements
  • Tenderer’s communication management, stakeholder management through the procurement process
  • Delivering value-for-money outcomes in complex environments
  • Ability to understand internal procurement templates and processes, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Department’s accreditation.
This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Working with project teams to develop procurement strategies across a range of goods and services procurement types
  • Assisting teams with the preparation of procurement strategy, tender documentation, evaluation plan, evaluation report and contract documents
  • Acting as the process manager and non-scoring convenor of Tender Evaluation
  • Participating in tender debriefs with tenderers.
  • Any other relevant works as directed by the Director of Goods and Services Procurement
  • It is expected that proposed resource/s have demonstrated experience in managing RFT’s
  • Desirable experience in SAP Ariba system
About you:
  • Demonstrated experience delivering goods and services procurement within NSW Government or a large complex environment
  • Strong understanding of NSW Government procurement frameworks, legislation and probity requirements
  • Experience managing end-to-end sourcing and RFx processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities in a commercially sensitive environment
  • Experience developing procurement documentation, evaluation plans and supplier agreements
  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, commerce, business or related discipline highly regarded
