Client Introduction
A growing technology business is looking for a client-facing Presales Solution Architect (Gaming & Digital Platforms | AWS / Alibaba Cloud) to join its regional team in Singapore. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, supporting customers with solution design, technical consulting, and pre-sales engagement across cloud-related projects.

They are looking for someone who is comfortable engaging customers, understands how to translate technical requirements into practical solutions, and can operate confidently in a client-facing environment. Candidates who have supported fast-moving digital businesses, gaming, online platforms, or similar customer environments will be especially relevant.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the commercial team to support new business and existing client opportunities
  • Engage customers to understand business needs, technical challenges, and solution requirements
  • Lead discovery sessions, solution discussions, technical presentations, and client workshops
  • Design and position suitable cloud solutions across infrastructure, migration, managed services, and performance requirements
  • Prepare solution proposals, write-ups, and responses for client submissions where needed
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the full pre-sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical and deliverable
  • Support regional clients across a range of business discussions
 
Job Requirements
  • Prior experience in presales, solution architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting
  • Strong exposure to cloud technologies, ideally AWS and/or Alibaba Cloud
  • Background from a cloud provider, cloud consultancy, managed services provider, or large SI will be highly relevant
  • Experience supporting gaming, digital platforms, online businesses, entertainment, or similar sectors will be an advantage
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and commercially driven environment
