Are you an experienced IT Audit professional with a passion for control testing in complex financial environments? Our client is an ASX listed FS group and they are seeking an IT Audit Manager
to lead and deliver high-quality control assurance across critical systems and processes within the Financial Services sector.
As an IT Audit Manager, you will play a key role in evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT controls (ITGC’s), ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening risk management frameworks. You’ll lead audit engagements with a strong focus on control testing across core systems, financial applications, and supporting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute IT audit engagements with a focus on control design and operating effectiveness testing.
Assess IT General Controls (ITGCs), application controls, and automated controls across financial systems.
Evaluate controls aligned to regulatory requirements (e.g. APRA, ISO27001 etc.).
Identify control gaps, risks, and remediation opportunities.
Mentor and develop junior auditors, fostering a high-performance culture.
Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and testing approaches.
About You
Proven experience in IT Audit, IT Risk, or Assurance within the financial services sector.
Strong expertise in control testing, including ITGCs and application controls.
Solid understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory environments.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, CA) preferred, not essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
