Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm providing strategic internal audit, governance, risk, and assurance services to clients across multiple industries. They are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Internal Audit & Risk Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of high-quality risk and audit solutions for clients in the Banking, Insurance, WM, Government and Industry sectors. Reporting to the Directors/Partner, you will lead and coach Consultants and Snr Consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage internal audit engagements from planning through to reporting.
Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans.
Evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks, and operational processes.
Provide practical recommendations to improve risk management and compliance.
Support clients with enterprise risk management frameworks and strategies.
Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior management and boards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Contribute to business development initiatives and proposal preparation.

About You

4+ years’ experience in internal audit, risk management, or assurance.
Proven interest in embracing emerging technology such as DA and AI.
Experience within consulting or professional services preferred.
Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA (part or completed) or equivalent.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
A proactive and client-focused approach, creative thinking and emerging technology focussed.
