A leading FinTech is seeking an Institutional Sales professional to join its growing team.
The firm operates an e-marketplace connecting buy-side and sell-side participants. This is a front-office role focused on driving platform adoption, expanding client relationships, and contributing to the growth of a next-generation trading solution in a rapidly evolving market structure.
Key Responsibilities include:
Business Development
- Identify and engage prospective clients across hedge funds, regional banks, and global financial institutions
- Convert pipeline opportunities into active platform users through targeted outreach and follow-through
Client & Liquidity Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and liquidity providers
- Understand trading workflows and help clients optimise how they interact with the platform
Revenue Generation
- Drive trading activity and platform usage through consistent client engagement and commercial execution
- Deliver against individual and team revenue targets
Account Management
- Conduct client meetings (in-person and virtual) to demonstrate platform capabilities and address feedback
- Develop account strategies to deepen engagement and overcome adoption barriers
Product & Market Feedback
- Work closely with internal product teams to relay client insights and contribute to ongoing platform development
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments
Requirements:
- Prior experience within global markets (Sales, Trading, or Electronic Platforms)
- Strong understanding of FX derivatives and market structure
- Existing network across institutional clients and/or liquidity providers
- Proven ability to originate and close business within financial institutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and their value proposition
