- Extensive HR business partnering experience (generalist ok) in financial services or a regulated environment, able to deal with difficult front office hiring teams
Responsibilities would include:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Advise APAC leaders, turn business goals into people strategies, and deputise for the Head of HR on regional priorities.
- Work with other teams covering talent acquisition, talent development, reward and HR operations, and adapt global HR initiatives to local markets
- Contribute to recruitment strategy, performance and succession planning, compensation and benefits, policy compliance and people analytics.
- Employee Relations & Workforce Management: Advise on complex employee relations cases, and lead restructurings, redundancies and exits with sound judgment.
- Reward, Performance & Analytics: Support benchmarking and the annual compensation review, and analyse workforce metrics to recommend actions.
- Talent Development & Engagement: Strengthen capability, career development and internal mobility, and advise on engagement, wellbeing and inclusion.
- Lead regional HR projects such as workforce planning, organisational design and D&I etc
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Extensive 7-10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, matrixed organisation, ideally in financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of APAC employment law and cultural nuances across several markets
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
- Commercially astute and analytically strong
- Comfortable handling both strategic and hands-on work, and with ambiguity
