A reputable regional bank is seeking a senior coverage banker to drive regional client growth and manage high-value corporate relationships across ASEAN. This role focuses on developing strategic accounts, originating structured financing opportunities, and steering multi-product delivery across credit, trade, and treasury.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client acquisition efforts and build long-term partnerships with major corporates, delivering tailored financing and balance-sheet solutions.
  • Originate and structure bespoke facilities across deposits, trade finance, and corporate lending, working closely with product teams for seamless execution.
  • Expand the institutional client base through market insight, industry engagement, and proactive business development.
  • Drive account planning and revenue performance, consistently meeting profitability goals while managing portfolio health and concentration risks.
  • Oversee credit workstreams, including analysis, structuring, and preparation of high-quality credit papers and proposals.
  • Monitor asset quality through disciplined risk oversight and early detection of emerging issues.
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive shifts to inform client strategy and solution design.
  • Guide end-to-end onboarding and execution, ensuring operational rigor and a high-quality client experience.
  • Build senior-level relationships within client organizations and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, joint initiatives, or cross-border collaboration.
  • Provide reporting and analytics on portfolio performance and deal pipeline to senior management.

Requirements

  • 12+ years’ experience in corporate or investment banking, with exposure to ASEAN markets; familiarity with real assets, TMT, or infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Strong relationships with senior corporate stakeholders and a proven ability to originate and execute complex regional transactions.
  • Solid credit, structuring, and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Self-driven, commercially minded, and effective in fast-moving, cross-border environments.
