This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across Asia-Pacific.
The Business Development Director will:
- Lead and execute the APAC business development strategy
- Own multi-million-dollar revenue targets and pipeline growth
- Build and expand relationships with global pharma, biotech & medtech sponsors
- Drive high-value deal pursuits (RFPs, proposals, negotiations)
- Lead and scale a regional BD, marketing & proposals team
- Establish strategic alliances across CROs, site networks & partners
- Represent the organisation at global conferences and industry forums
The Ideal candidate will come with:
- 10–15+ years in CRO / clinical research business development
- Proven track record of closing large, complex deals
- Strong network with global sponsors (pharma, biotech, medtech)
- Experience managing regional or global BD teams
- Deep understanding of clinical development (Phase I–IV)
- Strong exposure to Asia-Pacific markets
- Strategic, commercial, and highly entrepreneurial mindset
