A regional technology consulting business is growing its analytics and data engineering team in Bangkok, Thailand. They are hiring a permanent position of a Data Engineering Consultant (Snowflake/Fabric) with stronger technical depth who can support solution design and delivery, while also contributing to customer discussions when required.
The role is approximately 70% technical and 30% presales/consulting.
Job responsibilities
Working closely with the Managing Director and Tech Lead, your role involves:
- Supporting the design and implementation of analytics and data engineering solutions for clients.
- Working on solutioning across Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric and related data platform environments.
- Gathering requirements and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Supporting client meetings, workshops and presales discussions where needed.
- Preparing technical inputs for proposals, solution architecture and project planning.
- Keeping up to date with developments across cloud analytics and modern data platforms.
Job requirements
- Experience in analytics consulting, data engineering, solution consulting or a related role
- Hands-on exposure to Snowflake and/or Microsoft Fabric
- Comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Able to explain technical concepts clearly
- Databricks exposure would be an advantage
- Consulting or client-facing experience would be useful
