An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Delivery Process Lead, Lead Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst to join a major digital transformation portfolio within a large, complex organisation. Working within the Delivery Office, you'll play a key role in shaping future initiatives before they enter delivery. This is a highly strategic position focused on early-stage discovery, initiative scoping, governance and executive decision support.

You'll work across a diverse range of ICT/Digital portfolio Initiatives, helping ensure projects are appropriately defined, strategically aligned and ready for successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-discovery and early scoping activities for new initiatives
  • Assess project size, complexity, feasibility and delivery readiness
  • Develop high-quality project scope definitions and problem statements
  • Prepare executive-ready business cases, Statements of Work (SoWs), pitch decks and scoping documentation
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather and validate requirements
  • Coordinate inputs across Architecture, Cyber Security, Testing, Operations and Delivery teams
  • Support governance, prioritisation and investment decision-making
  • Establish repeatable delivery and pre-discovery processes to improve project pipeline maturity
About You
  • You'll be an experienced Business Process Analyst or Process Delivery professional with strong front-end project experience and the ability to shape initiatives before formal project mobilisation.
  • Experience leading pre-discovery, discovery or initiative scoping activities
  • Strong Business Analysis and business process improvement capability
  • Proven experience preparing business cases, Statements of Work (SoWs), executive papers and pitch decks
  • Experience engaging senior executives and facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into concise, decision-ready recommendations
  • Experience working across Digital, ICT or Transformation programs
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
Highly Desirable
  • Experience working within Delivery Offices, PMOs or Portfolio Management functions
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks or delivery processes
  • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Higher Education or Government experience
