- Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst – CMDB & Service Lifecycle

- Daily Rate Contract - Paying up to $950 per day (plus super)

The environment is heavily focused on ServiceNow CMDB, governance, service lifecycle maturity, and alignment across infrastructure, cloud and operational support teams. Existing analysis and remediation work has already been completed by both internal and external parties, including ServiceNow assessments of the current CMDB state.
You will work closely with technical and integration stakeholders across AWS cloud environments and broader ITSM functions, helping shape governance, lifecycle design, service models and data quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CMDB governance and operating model activities
- Facilitate workshops across Service Owners, Infrastructure, EUC and Cloud teams
- Drive CSDM alignment and service lifecycle maturity
- Translate governance and operational requirements into ServiceNow functional design
- Support CI lifecycle design and remediation initiatives
- Define onboarding requirements for AWS and broader discovery environments
- Develop service models, ownership mappings and governance frameworks
- Coordinate alignment between ServiceNow and observability tooling including New Relic
- Develop data quality KPIs, reporting and dashboards
- Produce detailed functional and process documentation
- Support UAT and operational transition activities
- Extensive ServiceNow Business Analysis experience
- Strong CMDB and CSDM delivery experience
- Proven background in enterprise CMDB remediation initiatives
- Experience with Service Mapping and Discovery
- Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL environments
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience working across integrations, APIs and enterprise platforms
- Ability to operate within large, complex enterprise environments
- Higher education/university sector experience highly regarded
