Are you a driven internal audit professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join a high-performing team, in a boutique Consulting Firm, working with a diverse portfolio of clients in the Federal, State, Local Councils and Not for Proffit sectors based in Canberra (ACT).
 
In this position, you'll be at the forefront of delivering risk-based operational, compliance, and internal audits, with opportunities to get involved in in IT Audits and emerging risk work.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits across a range of government clients.
- Engage in specialised audit areas including IT Audit and Emerging Risk (DA/AI) projects.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across diverse entities.
- Collaborate with a supportive, inclusive, and culturally diverse team.
- Work flexibly in a hybrid model with the ability to manage your own time and workload.
- This is a hands-on position, with peer management accountability.
 
✅ About You:
Qualified or part-qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or other, a degree-holder with 2+ years of internal audit experience (industry, government or chartered).
Baseline / NV 1 or NV2 clearances will be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
Proven ability to lead internal audits end to end.
Previous experience within external audit will be considered, however some Internal Audit or Risk Assurance experience is needed.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proactive, adaptable and a collaborative team player.
Comfortable working independently and within team environments.

Australian & NZ Citizenship is required. We do not need Baseline or NV1/2 clearance, as the client will apply for these.
