Take a leading role in driving excellence in investment analysis, delivering portfolio performance insights to senior stakeholders across a complex, multi-asset investment environment. This is a high-impact opportunity for a curious and ambitious investment professional who thrives on translating complex analytics into clear, commercial insight.

Working within a collaborative investment function, you will support portfolio performance, capital management and regulatory reporting, while enhancing investment governance, risk oversight and responsible investment frameworks.

Key deliverables include:

Investment Analytics & Reporting
  • Co-ordinate, prepare and provide oversight of key investment reporting for Board and Risk Committees, Investment Manager Committee, Asset Allocation Committee and external disclosures.
  • Deliver insightful commentary on investment performance, market developments and portfolio positioning.
  • Partner with senior executives on investment income reporting, capital forecasting and budget processes.
  • Calculate and deliver regulatory capital credit risk and asset risk charge requirements in line with APRA GPS114 standards.
Portfolio Risk & Asset-Liability Management
  • Conduct risk analysis across asset and liability portfolios, quantifying impacts from yield curve movements and hedging strategies.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing of asset-liability investment strategies.

About You:
You are technically strong, commercially aware and confident communicating with senior stakeholders. You enjoy working in a team environment while also providing independent, critical analysis.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Actuarial Studies (mandatory)
  • 3+ years’ experience in an investment analysis, middle office or investment operations role within funds management, asset owner or custody.
  • Strong understanding of diversified asset exposures
  • Experience in portfolio risk modelling, derivatives analysis and asset-liability management
  • Proficiency with investment performance and risk analytics platforms (e.g. StatPro, Bloomberg, FactSet)
  • Understanding of actuarial valuation processes advantageous
