Our client is a financial services organisation with a focus to transform the way they deliver excellence and innovation.
Their mission is to drive their 'data done right' philosophy, seeking to guide multi-million-dollar programs of work to uplift business processes and systems to effectively report,  risk management and support governance.

Due to ongoing growth within the division, we have a need for Senior Business Analyst/s with a risk management profile to join a new team and portfolio of work.  There are contract and permanent engagements available.

You will join a highly visible and business-critical project to transform operating models, system-landscapes, and data to augment the reporting, management, and decision-making processes.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and peers to assess and document business processes and regulatory requirements. This role is an exciting and rare opportunity to develop your expertise, demonstrate measurable value and apply the latest technology and new ways of working.

Skills and experience required include:

  • 5+ years Business Analyst experience in Operational Risk, Risk Governance and/or Non-Financial Risk domains (Credit Risk, Financial Risk and Market Risk)
  • Elicitation, validation and documentation of business requirements
  • Establish and facilitating workshops to ensure outcomes are delivered
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Presenting analysis findings and outcomes to senior business stakeholders
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
  • Analysing and collating of data and metrics to assist with management reporting activities
  • Co-ordinating, implementing and testing of business solutions, ensuring requirements have been met through traceability activities
  • Accurate and complete documentation of business solutions and analysis outcomes
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with the aptitude to build effective relationships and with the ability to work efficiently and autonomously in a geographically dispersed team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to flex and adapt your approach based on the initiative and stakeholder base
