We are currently working with well recognised General Insurance businesses in their Pricing and Reserving teams. You will be helping the Managers in technical actuarial work as well as assist with leading the team.
Responsibilities:
  • Providing pricing recommendations and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing best practice pricing models and product strategy
  • Participating in submission of statutory statistical returns and reports
  • Performing actuarial analyses, investigations, modelling, assignments, or projects
  • Setting assumptions, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of different techniques
  • Ability to delegate, direct, lead and provide technical advice to junior staff
Role requirements:
  • 3-7+ years’ actuarial experience, ideally in General Insurance
  • Background in pricing, valuations, or consulting
  • Prior experience in actuarial management or leadership role is ideal
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Experience using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Emblem, etc.
