About Our Client
We are partnering with an upcoming wireless optic technology organization, and they are seeking a leader to be part of their Software Development team. This person will be involved in supporting several new initiatives and mentoring juniors under you while growing the team to greater heights.

About the role 
  • Responsible for the software components used by the production line.
  • Implement new functions and maintain current software with a quality and automation-focused approach.
  • Improve the collection of manufacturing data for better analytics
  • Drive manufacturing software advancement based on customer input, feedback, and data analytics
  • Make software prototypes and test documentation.
  • Plan the validation and commissioning of new software, communicate with the hardware, mechanical, optical, electronic, and software R&D teams.
 
About the person
  • Proficient in programming in Go or other backend languages.
  • Knowledge of the Linux OS (Debian)
  • Experience in working with hardware testing, debugging preferred
  • Working knowledge of Git required
  • Experience developing tests (unit tests, integration tests, etc) preferred
  • Experience working with REST or gRPC APIs preferred
  • Experience working databases including NoSQL and/or RDBMS preferred
