Multiple positions available with well established banks / financial institutions. As part of the Line 2 compliance function, you will be responsible for the ongoing transaction monitoring and reporting for any potential financial crime matters and assist with investigating on suspicious activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor transactions (Retail, Commercial & Corporate) on a day-to-day basis in-line with the requirements of AML/CTF Program.
  • Monitor transactional alerts as they arise in the system. Analyse data from the customer and financial institutions to identify any suspicious activity.
  • Investigate suspicious transactions and prepare AUSTRAC reports (IFTI, SMR, TTR) for approval.
  • Process high risk customer and PEP applications and for senior management's approval.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and advice to the business in relation to compliance queries ensuring requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the transaction monitoring and AUSTRAC reporting process.
  • Assist in implementing the AML/CTF Program and relevant procedures.
  • Participate in AML projects and system testing as directed.
Required Skills/Experience: 
  • 3+ years proven experience in compliance operations, with exposure to transaction monitoring and reporting.
  • Clear understanding of the customer lifecycle management framework and process.
  • Good knowledge of AUSTRAC requirements regarding AMLCTF, KYC, CDD, EDD, OCDD (CAMS is advantageous).
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
