Tom Tan

Based in Shanghai, Tom heads EBC’s Life Sciences practice and is responsible for business growth and reach in Asia and beyond. He is an excellent executive recruiter specialising in Life Sciences, and is particularly talented in the pharmaceuticals space. He holds an impressive track record in placements, scaling teams and delivering solutions for a huge range of clients.

Tom started his recruitment career in 2005 in Shanghai. He has since worked in Suzhou and Singapore, and his experience includes a senior role at a top UK recruitment firm. In this role, Tom managed multiple teams across the region, after which he moved to another top performing UK firm to build their teams in Shanghai and Beijing from the ground up.
