Our client, a NSW Government Department are looking for a training specialist to join their team on a 12 month contract with potential for extension.

The Training Specialist will manage the development and implementation of the training program to support successful adoption by all internal and external users of the new single digital platform.

This will include but not limited to:
  • Support the Change Manager with the planning and development of a fit-for purpose and comprehensive training program for multiple internal and external user groups to ensure they have the capability required to use the Commissions’ new digital case management platform from each go-live.
  • Analyse the training needs of all internal and external user groups.
  • Manage all training environment data and liaise with program team on data refresh as required.
  • Develop all training materials, including interactive classroom-style training modules with activity-based-learning activities, demonstration-style training modules, virtual training modules, system walk-through videos, training manuals and associated on-demand training artefacts.
  • Liaise with internal process improvement team on development of training manuals that marry process knowledge required with system functions and steps
  • Monitor and evaluate training attendance and outcomes, including using feedback from stakeholders and recommend improvements, to continuously improve the learning and development offerings.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement a cohesive, integrated and comprehensive training program to drive desired outcomes.
  • Motivate, coach and mentor internal staff who will assist and support with delivery of training sessions.
  • Develop innovative, fit for purpose solutions within an organisation where needs are varied and continually changing
  • Manage business expectations of project related learning, concurrently with other programs where expectations may vary
In order to be eligable for this role you will have
  • Previous experince in a training role
  • Experience in NSW Government is Highly Desirable
  • Qualifications or work experience in the space
