The Role & The Organisation

This is a newly created dedicated function with an international Corporate & Institutional Bank. You will be the primary relationship holder to all the FI (banks and non-banks) clients, with a view to grow the bank's FI portfolio.

  • Build and manage relationships with banks and non-bank FIs to achieve assigned financial target revenues.
  • Develop good quality assets and liabilities, whilst identifying new business opportunities across multiple geographic locations.
  • Contribute toward setting up of different pricing strategies and credit lines for different FI clients.
  • Prepare agreements with banks and non-bank FI’s for potential business.
  • Carry out the necessary due diligence on the existing FI clients as well as introducing new relationships and provide recommendations on courses of action. 
  • Cooperate closely with treasury team and other departments where applicable to initiate new business.
  • Perform first-hand analysis on customers’ financial position or financial model as part of a complete credit proposal on new credit facilities or renewals.
  • Ensure AML and KYC documentations are in place for all credit exposure as per internal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain credit quality of the designated portfolio by minimization of non-performing assets with the aim of minimizing defaults and provisions.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
  • Minimum 3 years of relationship management experience in Australia based financial institution.
  • Good understanding of treasury / FI products, regional and international market dynamics.
  • Proactive, curious and self motivate, especially for marketing activities.
  • Strong team work skills and multi-cultural adaptability.
  • Ability to deal and network effectively with various clients, including their senior executives.
