We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join an organisation within the Banking & Financial Services. This position will be responsible to analyse Business Requirements, Business Processes and key controls to create relevant test cases and execute them to ensure that the solution meets the expected outcome, ensuring all possible defects are identified and mitigated before implementation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyse Business Requirements, Business Processes and Controls to come up with High Level Test scenarios
  • Assist in creating Test plan(s)
  • Create a detailed test cases with expected outcome and organise review sessions with Business stakeholders
  • Map the test cases to key controls
  • Participate in peer reviews and the quality of test cases and test plans
  • Execute test cases as per the test plan including key controls
  • Report and track defects identified and resolution liaising with Business analysts and business stakeholders
  • Support communicating consistent and accurate testing execution status
  • Interact with Analysts and business representatives to provide feedback on test results
  • Provide inputs to Test Completion Report
  • Working with and long side the Test Manager
  • Undertaking direct interface back to stakeholder and at all levels
  • Direct involvement in at times management of UAT , SIT and CFT testing and test creation of test cases for the various phases on the project
  • Update support points and procedures around testing
  • Creating of test profiles
  • Liaise between all parties on status and resolution of errors/issues
  • Update as require the test plan.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills - primarily for defect analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision; dependable, self-starter, and flexible
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of successful project completion working in a team
  • Input into Traceability matrix for test cases mapping

Skills and
Qualifications Needed for the role:
  • You will demonstrate excellent testing  analyst skills along with the ability to build good business relationships with business stakeholders.
  • 5+ years in a Senior Test Analyst role in the finance industry is essential
This is an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend until late 2022.
