The Company: 

Leading Insurance Firm, strong global presence, is seeking a dynamic Senior Credit Control Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong.  An exciting role to work with a collaborative team. 

This role will also consider straight Big 4 candidates, with insurance industry experience. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in oversight, operation and management of all appropriate receivable ledgers to ensure all relevant targets are met of better
  • Assist in all day to day activities with respect to the CORE credit control functions for Hong Kong and Macau including:
  • Liaise on and plan with brokers that ensures premium settlements are made in accordance with the Company’s' Credit Terms; identify and initiate collaboration and solution build with producers on policy lifecycle actions that facilitate good receivables practices
  • Drive communications and solution with operations to ensure all issues requiring operational fixes are communicated, measured, and completed in a structured and governed framework
  • Prepare reporting information efficiently and on time including – Regional reporting, unallocated cash, overdue premium, bad debts, etc
  • Produce, develop and refine analysis, reporting, recommendations in regard to operational flows and efficiencies in Affiliate and Non-Affiliates payables, receivables and recoveries
  • Maintain up to date operating procedures including risk assessment and design of appropriate controls


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably working in General Insurance industry
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, responsible individual with high levels of integrity
  • High level of personal organization with the ability to manage time effectively to achieve the various deadlines
  • Good knowledge of broker procedures and accounting procedures for complicated insurance statements
  • Highly PC literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
