Due to ongoing demand across risk and compliance domains we have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst with process re engineering and operating modelling expertise to commence an initial 12 month rolling engagement with the view to extend well into 2022/23.  The key focus for the position is be responsible for discover "as is", and "to be" future state design of optimising reporting across the organisation.    In addition to capturing the 'as is' requirements, the operating model will include process design, process simplification standard operational processes.  Stakeholder engagement will be critical to the success of this role.

Your role will see you engage with various teams to create, manage, and deliver the business design framework, process management, governance, and to translate strategy into meaningful requirements.

The position will involve creating a process and target model for internal engagement by gaining commitment to implement from the business. The Senior Business Analyst becomes the requirements and design SME of the new model through to implementation, adoption and outcome realisation. This will involve specifying the capabilities, features to support the new process, and driving the customer and employee validation.

Experience required for this role include:

  • 5 + years developing and building target state processes and functions within a financial services environment, including process design, process simplification, Standard Operating Processing and Modelling across banking/ financial services programs
  • Facilitation of process design workshops involving participants from senior management, business users and system architects.
  • Operations and Process Business Architect / Analyst 
  • Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to effectively review current state and processes, as well as make best practice recommendations for future state.
  • High level interpersonal and written communication skills in a complex project environment.
  • Exposure across risk, regulatory/ industry reporting obligations highly regarded but not essential
