Due to continued growth across both their domestic and offshore businesses, my client a prominent ASX listed Financial Services group, is seeking a suitably qualified individual with proven business planning, forecasting and finance partnering experience to join their FP&A team.

The Group FP&A Manager role supports the business by providing analytical information and carrying out financial
modelling to suppport the finance team and senior management with strategic decision making.

This role offers fantastic exposure to all areas of the business and key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the consolidation Group forecasts from Regional Submissions, providing analysis and insight on key movements, drivers, risks/opportunities;
  • Delivery of key documents and schedules for investor packs and board papers;
  • Comprehensive understanding of financials including P&L’s, balance sheet and cash flows and inter-related concepts;
  • Build new financial models to aid in onboarding of new teams, run scenario’s/sensitivities and/or assist in M&A activities;
  • Business partnering with Global Business streams and socialisation with business/finance teams;
  • Detailed review of BU forecasts and models to ensure accuracy whilst working with regional finance teams to enhance where needed;
This is a key hire within Finance and suitable experience is crucial.  You will demonstrate a number of the following skills:
  • Current/previous FP&A, Decision Support or Finance Business Partnering experience;
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualified;
  • Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills;
  • Strong financial modelling with experience in building end to end models including Balance Sheet and Cash Flows;
  • Financial Services exprience preferred, but happy to consider relevant experience from the commecial sector;
  • You will have strong relationship management skills across various levels of internal and external stakeholders coupled with superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven track record in systemising complex processes from excel into systems/planning tools;
  • Experience in building and enhancing planning tools;
  • Advanced Excel (must have) and SQL skills (nice to have);
