Our Client a Leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Communications Advisor  (Grade 7/8) to join their team on a 6 month contract . There may be potential for this role to turn inot a long term position.
The role is responsible for contributing  to the development and review of web content, publications and other communications materials, to reflect the clients  brand and needs of partners across multiple channels.

Essential requirements
• Editorial experience in developing and reviewing content for delivery through multiple channels to reflect corporate standards and brand requirements across a range of projects and business units with specific needs and objectives. In particular experience working in website content management systems and on associated publications. (e.g. Drupal, Sitecore, Squiz)
• Internal client liaision and working to multiple deadlines for reviewing and editing of content and subsequent publishing on websites. (e.g. Energy.nsw.gov.au and Environment.nsw.gov.au).
Must have strong attention to detail and understanding of accessible content writing, Plain English and NSW government editorial style guidelines.
• Ability to work after hours (including weekends on occasion), if required for urgent or Ministerial related publishing work.

Overall purpose:
• Produce communication that meets content, design, delivery and brand standards and requirements, while prioritising customer needs and providing enhanced access, experiences and services.
• Manage digital systems to deliver content that is optimised for delivery interface/s, information architectures, discoverability and accessibility.
• Maintain a collaborative, customer-focused culture that identifies and responds to stakeholder needs and expectations.
• Coordinate project management systems and processes, including scheduling and compliance with relevant governance policies, practices and statutory requirements.
• Establish effective working relationships and communication with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers for collaborative engagement in both government and partner initiatives.
