Our client is a fast-growing Construction company located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches that has been in business for 20 years.
They are currently generating $8M in sales per year and now has an opportunity available for an experienced Accounts professional to join the team.

The role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Officer to join our friendly team.
 
Your Key tasks and Responsibilities are:
  • Maintaining an orderly filing system
  • Assisting with preparation of Monthly Revenue Reports
  • Data entry of invoices from suppliers/Sub -contractors with correct GL codes
  • Preparation of all manual payments outside the normal pay run
  • Processing of staff expenses
  • Setting up new employees and contractors
  • CRM input and general data entry
  • Reconciliation with Project Management software
  • Liaising with the Internal staff and external contractors
  • Record keeping – accurate records are maintained and secured
  • Assist with GST and Super reconciliation
  • Assist with setting up building contracts for clients
  • Assist with invoicing and debtor control
  • Inventory control and purchase ordering
  •  
About you:
  • Reside in and hold full working rights in Australia
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy 
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Pro-active attitude
  • MYOB and/or Xero experience
  • Excel exposure
  • Construction Industry experience preferred but not essential
